Rejected petition Support the self-employed the same as employees during the Covid-19 crisis.
The government has announced that they are giving employees 80% of their wage during the Covid-19 outbreak however the self-employed are only getting universal credit equivalent to £94 a week. Many are the breadwinners of households and this is not a liveable wage during uncertain times!
More details
Give 80% of the average monthly earnings from the previous full financial year (18/19) to those that are self employed. Or the average monthly earnings over the past 3 years
