Closed Provide statutory support for emergency service workers injured on duty

To the House of Commons. The petition of the Emergency Services personnel, declares that when criminally injured on duty, our emergency workers of the police, ambulance and fire services are left to cope with often life changing circumstances without any formal support structure. The petitioner therefore requests that the House of Commons introduces legislation to place a statutory obligation on Government to provide suitable welfare support to those criminally injured in the line of duty.
