Rejected petition Freeze rent payments for 6 months in response to Covid-19

Freeze rent payments to landlords for 6 months in order to provide security to renters during the current crisis. In instances where private landlords do not have the necessary funds to cope, a government fund should help support them.

More details

Given the financial uncertainty facing renters during the Covid-19 crisis, and the fact that people have already lost their jobs or haven't been paid, renters should be protected from eviction.
