Rejected petition Support self employed workers by guaranteeing their income by 80%
80% Wages for employed people have been guaranteed. For many of the five-million self employed people, there are no benefits they are eligible for to support them during the covid-19 outbreak. Everyone deserves to have their income protected at this time, despite how it is earned.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
