Council tax freeze for the duration 6 - 12 months while we deal with COVID-19

I would like the government to suspend council tax to each house hold and fund the council directly. The government are offering statuary sick pay to all employees who are self- isolating £94.25 and continue paying council tax. A large proportion will be deducted leaving families with less to survive on.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
