Rejected petition Give funding to self-employed workers that are affected by the covid-19 crisis

15% of the UK are self-employed. That is 5 million people. Currently there is no help with the wages that they are losing due to the shut down and self-isolation across the country.
For example, construction workers (no premises, no illness, no money) sites are closing down.

More details

The government have helped all employees ( upto £2500 per month) , businesses with premises (£10000 grant) but not the self- employed. Construction workers, childminders and general self employed across the UK.
Give us the funding to apply for now before we can’t afford bills, and food. We have bills to pay and children to feed too.
HELP THE SELF-EMPLOYED TOO.
