The government should help students who have been ignored in the recent fiscal packages. By calling for a rent freeze on all privately owned and university owned accomodation as well as ensuring every student receives the highest tier of loan next term regardless of parental income. This is because some parents may have been laid off, facing financial difficulty and the potential to not be able to support students as the government would expect. It would also help if a lockdown occurs.
