Rejected petition Implement councils to freeze council tax payments in full during the pandemic

During this time people may not be able to pay bills one being the council tax,if payments are behind this usually ends up going to a debt collection agency .Local councils need to realise this can lead to mental health issue and during this time tenants may struggle with payments.

I would like the government to instruct local councils to freeze all payments for 3 months to help people who are struggling to get through this tough time.

Why was this petition rejected?
