Rejected petition Abolish TV Talent shows

We see time and time again the same old rubbish on TV, such the likes of X Factor and Britain's Got Talent.
Many thousands of people in the public have been let down if they had applied to attend an audition to appear on these shows.
It is grossly unfair that a lot of talented people don't get through - and yet people without talent get on these types of shows.
It is about time that these TV shows were banned.
Television should be for signed professional entertainers, comedians, singers and actors only.
