Rejected petition Prosecute those who charge inflated RRP’s on products during the CV-19 crisis

I want the government and or the local authority to prosecute any retailers who inflate the RRP on goods such as food, drink, sanitary products, toilet roll, education items like pens, pencils, writing pads.

More details

It is absolutely disgusting that retailers, mainly smaller corner/village shops are inflating the cost of goods to profit of the back of a global crisis.

There are people in the country who can only just afford food for there children and these people have the cheek to try and charge for example £15.99 for a bottle of soap and put a box of 6 eggs up to £4.99. There are multiple examples of this happening on social media and it makes me sick.
