Rejected petition Cancel the last instalment payment university students living in accommodation

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, many students up and down the country have moved back home. This is the result of universities suspending face to face teaching and moving it online. Students still have to pay hundreds for the last months for a place they will not live in. Cancel the last months.

It varies at what university and what accommodation but some students pay upwards of hundreds and thousands of pounds each month for their rent. As many students are home and have cleared out, there is no need for the payment of this rent.
