Rejected petition Cancel third term accommodation payments for university students due to Covid-19

I would like the government to show some compassion to university students who are not using accommodation during this difficult time and cancel the payment for the third semester for accommodation in the University of Hertfordshire and all universities

I believe it is unfair that university students who work hard, rely on maintenance loans and parent support to pay for accommodation fees still have to pay for accommodation although they are now living at home due to Covid-19 and all teaching has moved to online until September.
