Rejected petition Pay Self-Employed/Freelancers 80% of their median salary during Covid19 outbreak
We’re calling on the UK Government to formally update their plan for the self-employed (including those freelancers set up as limited companies where they are the only director/employee) of all industries, to match their support for the employed workforce during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
More details
The latest government statement:
‘’Employed - up to £2,500 per month, non means tested. Self employed - £376 per month, but means tested.’’
Lets look after the 5 million self-employed workforce and give them 80% of their median salary, up to £2,500 per month. Let’s not forget them. It’s only fair.
