Rejected petition Do more for the self employed in this Coronavirus Pandemic crisis we have!

There is 5 millon self employed people in this country you said that you would pay 80% of employment wages! But nothing for the self employed! Only benfits! Seriously
Self employed and local businesses’s pay taxes, and keep this country going!
Large business like tesco ect dont pay as much as us

Change the way you are dealing with this with employment and support local businesses and self employed with work, government grants loans ect!
Maybe make loans and grants the same ad you do with Universities loans when someone earns more then 22K a yesr u take back the payment of the loan! Do something like that or something with the self employed! So we can keep our staff and keep our business’s open! If all the businesses close everyone will sign up to benfits anyways! So why dont u stop tha

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
