Rejected petition To make GCSE students predicted grades higher than a pass
Rejected on
we would like our predicted grades to be over a pass as we have not been given a chance to improve our grades since GCSE were cancelled. it will not be fair as we’ve had sleepless nights preparing for our GCSE's. We believe our grades shouldn't come from our recent exams and demand reconsideration.
As we are the first year ever to have not done GCSE, we urge you to take the necessary precautions that will benefit the students of 2020
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
Decisions about exams are a matter for exam boards and individual schools, not the UK Government or Parliament. You can read the decision made by exam boards on what will happen to exams here:

https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/306773As a result of the large numbers of petitions people have tried to start on this issue, and following a large number of questions it received from petitioners about exams, the Petitions Committee asked the Government about the impact of coronavirus on schools and exams.
