Rejected petition Give the self employed people their wage throughout this trauma, UC isn't enough
Self employed need paying throughout this pandemic, they have families to feed and houses to pay for just as much as the employees who can receive 80% of their earnings!!!

The self employed wont last, it's going to cause major debt throughout the millions of self employed in the uk. You should be paying them their equivalent of 80% of their wage from the HMRC tax returns of previous year.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
