Rejected petition To pay a bursary to all NHS students employed during the coronavirus crisis

The government should ensure that all NHS students are paid during the coronavirus crisis be they nurses, radiographers or training to be other health professionals.

The government removed nursing bursaries from students. Many nursing students have to work in other jobs to make ends meet. With the current coronavirus crisis it's imperative that these nurses are able to rest when off work.

We rely on these people especially at this time and their commitment to our health needs to be recognised.
