Rejected petition Close retail stores to protect its staff from the spread of COVID-19
To close retail shops in towns, cities & shopping centres to help stop the spread of COVID-19. The public are still not abiding by its governments advice of staying home and avoiding busy areas. We should be closing shops that have an online option of buying and self serving.
More details
We want to protect retail employees who currently don’t have a choice but to open its doors to the public and to protect them against the spread of COVID-19, these employees still have families to go home to and could put them at risk of the virus all the time staff need to work in retail stores.
Most of retail does not need to be open, customers still have the ability to shop online and self serve via its websites and also calling customer services
