The positives effects to come out of priority right of way for cyclists,

safer roads for cycling,
encourage more cyclists onto the roads,
help improve public health,
reduce congestion on streets,
lighten the burden on public transport,
less wear on roads,
make streets and cities more pleasant places,
providing independence for children.
