Rejected petition Offer high risk pay to ALL frontline key workers during COVID-19

High risk pay rise to ALL key workers and ALL other essential workers along with priority shopping. Especially childcare workers who are putting themselves at risk so that others can do their job. They are one of our main key workers right now during this hard time and they deserve the recognition.

More details

I don’t think these people get enough recognition and are branded as low skill workers. They are carrying us all in this hard time and those who have to continue to work are putting them and their families at risk for us. They deserve to be paid higher and receive priority shopping. A lot of schools are staying open to care for the children of key workers and the childcare workers ARE key workers and they are doing their upmost best to support those children while putting themselves at risk.
