Because people like me who are self employed and face being shut down because of covid 19 risk loosing everything because there is no way on earth I can survive on £76 a week from you I have bills to pay a family to feed pets to care for elderly family who are relying on me during these hard times and if I get shut down and can not work my life will crumble almost instantly as for many many others in the same situation as me so please help us and don’t let us go down with the virus

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
