Rejected petition Declare all construction sites (non critical) to be closed during shutdown.

Government policy should declare that during the Covid-19 shutdown all non essential building works have to cease.

I would want the government to take such drastic action in order to prevent the spread of Covid 19. Having non essential sites open poses a great danger through contamination to individuals and the public at large.

Days ago the government said that the open air isn’t a deterrent against infection spread yet many people continue to work on open air sites and it is deemed acceptable. Contradicting themseleves and putting many lives at risk, please make it stop.
