It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

The payment of insurance policies is a matter for individual insurance providers and holders, not the Government or Parliament.

A number of insurers have put in place specific arrangements due to the coronavirus outbreak. You should contact your insurer to see if they have made any arrangements you can take advantage of. We have published a number of petitions calling on the Government to provide financial support to individuals who have been affected by coronavirus, which you might like to sign.
