Why is car insurance for woman so expensive now?
We understand it has been brought up to a young mans insurance but why so expensive?
I am nearly 23, and learning to drive, almost at the point of taking my test, my boyfriend of 5 years has a Golf GTI that is 12 years old..... his insurance (all be it he has been driving 6 years) is less than 500 ponds due to 'farming' insurance policies..... mine as a provisional is 2,700 ON HIS POLICY, MINIMUM.
How is a young girl of 22 supposed to afford that when she can only just about find work for 4 days a week at less than 800 pound pcm......
