Rejected petition Have a NHS recognition day for their service during the covid 19 pandemic

I would like the government to dedicate a national recognition day to the NHS for their dedication during the covid 19 pandemic.

The staff of the NHS are putting their lives on the line to treat people with covid 19, granted they do this every day but covid 19 isn't an every day situation we have lost doctors and nurses to this infection and I believe that the NHS should have one day a year dedicated to them as a way of showing appreciation.
