Rejected petition The NHS should be awarded the George Cross for their bravery against Corona
I would like the Government to lobby the Queen to allow the NHS to be awarded the George cross for bravery in a similar way that Malta was awarded it during the second world war

The bravery shown by all members of the NHS has been second to none, the staff have faced this terrible disease with stoicism. The entire NHS staff have not faltered when asked to deal with the very real dangers of facing Corona Virus. Retired NHS staff have volunteered to face this challenge head on many of them of an age that put them at even greater risk. The George Medal award would be the least this country could do for the entire NHS.
