Rejected petition Stop banks to change high interest charges on overdrafts and credit cards
Government to set regulations for banks to place interests rates to a maximum that can be affordable to people for debts to be repaid.

I am a single parent - I work full time but the salary is not sufficient to reach month end. All bills increase yearly and still banks continue to also increase their interests level to (now) 40% for overdrafts and credit cards. Impossible to repay any debt, and risking families to declare bankruptcy. Banks care only for their financial greedy games - people are living in despair. Please reach an agreement with banks to stop charging so much and introduce further regulations to help people.
