Rejected petition smoking around children in the home should be classed as child abuse

Only the most ignorant of people will not accept that passive smoking is as big a killer to non-smokers as ciggarettes are to smokers.
Children are the most succeptible to passive smoking as their bodies are still developing and therefore more damage can be done much quicker to childrens lungs, heart etc.
Therefore anyone who is found to be deliberatley smoking in the prescence of a child should be treated the same as someone who physically or sexually abuses a child.
