Rejected petition We Want An Honours List for Our NHS Staff, Carers and Key-Worker Heroes!
We petition the Government to offer full recognition to those who are leading the Coronavirus fightback. We ask the Government create a separate list for them in The Queen’s Birthday Honours 2020. This list would be devoted solely to honouring NHS staff and other key workers.
More details
Usually, these groups are included in the main list. A separate list would allow for greater public focus upon those who truly are the best of us at this time. The main list always achieves headlines due to which celebrities have been included on it. By having a separate NHS, Carers and Key Workers List, we can single out the individuals who most need our attention and gratitude this year.
This is not about the politics of honours. We're focused on praising brave NHS staff & key workers.
