Rejected petition Give students autonomy of surplus University funding from strikes / COVID-19
Students who have been at University have had 21 weeks (23 weeks/yr) missed/disrupted due to strikes/COVID-19.
From the £9,250/yr we spend on our education this has left Universities with a surplus of funding that is currently not returned to or spent to best reflect the needs of students.

1. Require Universities to be transparent with students about how they plan to spend surplus funding.
2. Require Universities to give students some autonomy as to how the surplus funding is spent
3. Require Universities to compensation students, using the surplus of funding from strikes and COVID-19, as a repair for the disruptions to our education
