Rejected petition Allow all asthmatics to receive a 12 week shielding letter
For all asthmatics to receive a letter advising them to stay home for 12 weeks so they can stay safe
More details
I have asthma myself and have been unsure of what I should be doing as every health care professional has a different opinion, I have been informed by my GP that because I have not been hospitalised in the past year I do not fall under the high risk category, and that he does not allocate letters to people, but the asthma website has different information. I have heard many story’s just like mine, were doctors aren't taking responsibility for their patience and telling them to either call 111 or look at the asthma in web site

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
The list of those considered to be extremely vulnerable is a clinical decision for the NHS, not the UK Government or Parliament.
