For too long in this Country Trade skills and Engineering have been neglected. Not all young people are academic and we no longer offer "Real " apprenticeships for them to take up and give them some values in life..
We are lacking trade skills unlike our European cousins who still value them.
Our biggest trainers of skills in the past were the Nationlised Industries but alas they are no more.
So, get the Governmenet to give Companies a Tax break to take on youngsters and train them in Real skills. This will be cheaper in the long run than having an unskilled ,demotivated, workshy
