Petition Allow Online Voting in Local and National Elections and Referendums

Stop requiring people to visit their local polling station or completing a postal vote and allow people to vote online. With the technology available this should not be out of the question at all. Allow people to enter passport details as they vote to help prove identity. Identity cards aren't even required at polling stations so I cannot see any reason why online voting cannot happen.
