Rejected petition Include 2019/20 tax year in the COVID19 Self employed scheme

The self employed scheme announced by the government is good scheme for the majority but the is a still a large number of self employed people who are at the bottom side of the scale who this scheme does not assist.

WE NEED THE 2019/20 TAX YEAR TO BE INCLUDED IN THE SCHEME SO THE CAN SURVIVE.

More details

The current scheme is not protecting some of the most vulnerable households. We need you to update the self employed scheme to include the 2019/2020 tax year and enable the newly self employed to survive through these hard times.

My household has had a self employed income since may 2019 and paid 20% tax through the CIS but is currently unable to qualify for your scheme and therefore starting to struggle to survive like many others.
