Rejected petition Ensure all care staff must wear full PPE before covid-19 symptoms are present

We want the government to put in place protection for our most vulnerable. Currently the government is only instructed the use of face masks and PPE for all tasks if covid-19 symptoms are present. We want this changed so as all PPE is worn to prevent covid-19 attacking the elderly

More details

Most of the elderly now have a Do Not Resusitate order in place following the covid-19 outbreak. We understand this as they must help those who are more likely to survive however, this being the case the government should be protecting the elderly and enforcing all care staff must wear full Personal Protective Equipement and face masks to protect them and to try to prevent covid-19. The tight hygienie guidelines should be used before covid-19 is present not after! Prevention over cure!
