Rejected petition Hold an annual remembrance day for victims of the Coronavirus in UK.
As the families of victims of Coronavirus were not allowed to have a proper funeral, the Government should recognise the terrible distress caused and hold an annual remembrance day for the thousands of families and friends who were affected and this will help unite people in their grief.

Our Government should recognise the distress and anxiety caused to families who couldn't say a genuine goodbye, hold hands or hug loved ones as they passed away, which would have been allowed under normal circumstances. Lets recognise the genuine sacrifice of these families and citizens of the UK to help defeat the Coronavirus. It is a war against an unknown and unseen enemy which will kill many more than conflicts. It will be a chance for UK families to remember,unite and share in that grief
