Award the George Cross to the NHS in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, in recognition of the bravery of its staff during the Covid-19 crisis in 2020.

Working in the NHS in all 4 of the UK's nations, Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Workers, Paramedics, Porters and an army of other dedicated professionals have put their lives on the line to treat the sick affected by Covid-19.

Many have contracted the disease whilst caring for seriously ill patients and some have sadly died as a result.

This shows extreme bravery in the face of highly infectious situations, deserving the highest recognition our nation can bestow on them.
