Could the government set up factories to make the products that they purchase from countries abroad. The government departments spend millions on products that they require and most of these are from oversees companies which are below standard and do not protect British jobs. The uk has skills and knowledge to produce the items and now that china and the far east are putting up their prices Britain could produce a better product at reasonable prices and make thousands of new jobs for british people
