Nationalise all UK water and power utilities to ensure their first priority is efficient, sustainable and affordable supply.

Enable customers, individual and corporate, including public authorities, to invest in them for reasonable return which might include concessions/discounts on supply, and ensure consultation with such investors on operation of and investment in them.

Aim to reduce dependence on imports and to plan for longer-term issues such as possible increasing drought conditions in parts of the country.

Aim also that such nationalisation would contribute to reasonable deficit reduction, and towards creating and sustaining a fairer society.
