Rejected petition Remove politician's additional expense allowance for working at home

It has been reported that MP's are to be able to claim an additional £10,000 in expenses for working at home. This should be reviewed and ultimately withdrawn. MP's should not be claiming extra money at a time of national crisis.

At a time when millions of people are working at home with no ability to claim such expenses, millions more people are being furloughed and taking a pay cut, and some business will go to the wall, this is a disgrace. By working from home, MP's are not having to travel to work, so saving money in one area. Furthermore, all public funds should be directed towards supporting the general public and the health service at this time. MP's need to be setting an example.
