This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We understand that you want the Government to help people who currently do not have access to the internet, but it's not clear exactly what you want the Government to do, or who should be entitled to any new support.

If you want the Government to fund the provision of internet and an internet-enabled device (such as a smart phone, laptop or desktop computer), you could start a new petition requesting this. If you want this only to be offered to certain households, such as those with household income below a certain level, or in recent of certain means-tested benefits, you could specify this in your petition.
