Rejected petition Create a campaign medal/award for serving in the fight against Coronavirus
In wars serving soldiers and other frontline supporters are awarded a campaign medal. I would like to see all frontline staff and volunteers who have helped in the fight against Coronvirus receive a similar type of award
More details
Many who have helped fight this battle including doctors, nurses, paramedics and carers have put their lives at risk daily in the frontline. They have been supported by unseen heroes such as cleaners, porters, delivery drivers, providers/manufacturers of goods and equipment, staff in supermarkets and a whole army of volunteers offering food deliveries, helplines and a listening ear. This has been a war and our "army" deserves recognition
