Rejected petition Appoint a new coalition government to deal with the Coronavirus crisis

The current crisis is incredibly challenging, and it's increasingly clear that the current cabinet is struggling to manage and respond it. Prime Minister Boris Johnson — who is himself demonstrably incapacitated — should appoint a new cabinet to deal with the crisis more effectively.

More details

One thing history teaches us, is that unity and togetherness are the most powerful tools to guide us through times like this.

We are all feeling afraid. Boris Johnson, and the current cabinet, are struggling to respond to this fast-moving crisis. The Prime Minister appears to be absent, and the country lacks clear leadership.

The government need not be afraid to appoint a bipartisan cabinet — with a common purpose to save as many lives, as quickly as possible, in the weeks and months ahead.
