Closed Pensioner Personal Tax allowance

Following todays statement by the Chancellor I am asking that the pensioners personal allowance is raised immediately by the same amount the as a workers personal allowance and that pensioners are treated with fairness in the future.

What has been done today has created a second class citizen, the pensioner; even though these very pensioners have contributed all their lives in taxes and national insurance contributions.

We are still being hit hard by all the indirect taxation for example energy bills, fuel costs, food costs and miserable interest on our savings, yet the Chancellor feels compelled to hit the pensioner again. This is extremely shabby actions from this government
