Rejected petition Stop Govt. support for companies registered abroad to avoid UK tax.

I would like Parliament to withhold financial support to 'bail out' UK companies when those companies are registered offshore in order to lessen their tax liability to the UK Treasury.

More details

It has become obvious during the current Covid-19 pandemic, that the NHS and registered companies are in need of financial support from the Governments of the UK, Scotland and the devolved Assemblies. However, it is also apparent that many companies are asking for help after they have spent years accruing wealth by avoiding UK tax. It is true that there should be no taxation without representation, but similarly, there should be no bailouts if there's been tax avoidance.
