Refrain from the use of jury's to decide a criminals fate! Also move to a more inquisitorial system as opposed to our current adversarial system. Rather than cases put forward by both prosecution and defence, the judge should seek the facts of a case from a variety of sources and then make the decision. The process shouldn't be about 'winning people over'
