Rejected petition Declare a National Day of Mourning for people who died due to Covid-19 pandemic

Covid-19 has impacted on everyone in the UK.
This petition calls on the government to designate a National Day of Mourning as a means of honouring all of the people who unfortunately lost their lives in this pandemic.

More details

Covid-19 has had an impact on the lives of everyone in the UK this year, and many people have lost loved ones. Many times they haven't been able to be there when their loved ones died. Many people haven't been able to hold proper funerals to wish their loved ones a proper farewell.
This day of mourning will ensure that people have an opportunity to remember their loved ones. It will also be an opportunity for everyone in the UK to reflect on the loss as a country.
