Rejected petition Commit to a public enquiry into the UK's response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an event that has caused immense public concern and affected every single individual in the UK. The country must learn and act as a result of this.
More details
As The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and First Secretary of State (Dominic Raab) rightly says, "there are definitely lessons to be learnt, and when we get through this crisis it will be important that we take stock and come together to understand, with such an unprecedented challenge on an international scale, what can be done to avoid it happening again."
Now is the time for the government to commit to such an enquiry.
