Rejected petition Allow access to close family and friends with mental health issues
I want the rules of lockdown to be relaxed so we are able to see our close relatives and close friends to support them with mental illness, domestic abuse or disabilities. So we are able to give them comfort and be someone they trust to talk to about issues at home or just a friendly face!
More details
Look at the domestic abuse numbers rising, suicide deaths numbers rising, the divorce increase, mental illness diagnosis numbers rising. How about you look at what really matters! People with cancer can’t live their last moment with their families. Single adults with disabilities that can’t leave their house or aren't able to have any human interaction
Loneliness is a real thing and it’s hard to see family’s being torn apart from the loss of someone they love the most!
