Regional pay would drive down rates of pay for some of the poorest communities in the UK, and raise rates for wealthy areas. This imbalance can only be divisive, making people only want to apply for the jobs in the wealthier areas.

Wealth should be distributed equally across the country, equal pay for equal jobs!
